Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in phlebotomy, medical terminology, providing vital signs, and EMR systems.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures all the necessary information and materials are present for clinician prior to the patient visits
• Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
• Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately
• Phlebotomy, basic laboratory tests and procedures
• Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety protocols

Experience:

• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
