Our busy, well-established pediatric practice in Wilbraham and Belchertown is looking for an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team! What You'll Do:
As a key member of our clinical team, you will: Room patients, collect vital signs, and document in
EPIC EMR
Review and reconcile allergies, medications, and medical history Assist providers during exams and procedures Administer immunizations Perform screenings and diagnostic tests: Fingersticks (HGB, glucose, lead) Urine dips & pregnancy tests Hearing & vision screenings Spirometry Glucometer checks Complete provider orders and required forms Collect specimens and assist with treatments Prepare and stock exam rooms Support both clinical and administrative tasks as needed You'll play a vital role in keeping our office running smoothly while ensuring every child feels safe and cared for.
What We're Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience (required) Pediatric experience (preferred) CMA or RMA (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire) Experience with EMR systems (EPIC strongly preferred) Strong computer skills Self-starter with excellent multitasking ability Warm, outgoing, team-oriented personality Dependable and able to commute to
