Key responsibilities include:
Preparing exam rooms and sterilizing equipment Rooming patients, obtaining health histories, and checking vital signs Documenting care using electronic medical records Performing phlebotomy, urinalysis, and handling specimens Administering medications and immunizations Assisting providers with minor procedures and point-of-care testingQualifications:
Technical certification, 1+ years of relevant experience, current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assistant program, or EMT certification Experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT Preferred skills: Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA, CMAC) BLS-CPR certification Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) Proficiency in vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and medication administration The role offers competitive pay, benefits, incentives, and growth opportunities, with hourly wages ranging from $16.00 to $25.00 depending on experience and qualifications.Benefits
