Job Description
PLEASE NOTE
THISJOB REQUIRES YOU TO TRAVEL TO THE SALISBURY LOCATION ON WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS!
- Expected to be professional, courteous, and kind to patients, and others, at all times.
- Ability to work with assigned provider, assisting with patients, forms, phone calls, letters, obtaining medical records, and prior authorizations.
- Conducting rapid lab test
- Recording lab results in EMR (Athena)
- Collecting and processing urine dips
- Performing ear lavages
- Performing EKG's
- Administering injections
- Assisting Providers with medical procedures
- Suture and staple removal
- Undressing/Dressing wounds
- Performing PFT's
- Performing eye exams using eye carts, and color vision for DOT physicals
- Assist providers with paps, breast exams, and rectal exams
- Preparing & collecting specimens for lab
- Punctuality
- CPR certification
- Proficient in verbal communication and medical terminology, including medications
- Ability to work 7am-4pm, M-F, and willingness to stay longer if needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Cleaning designated areas daily
