CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT
- Dermatology & Surgery Center Full-Time | Chevy Chase, MD | Monday-Friday | No Evenings or Weekends We are seeking an experienced and professional Clinical Medical Assistant who is eager to build a
LONG-TERM
career with opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and advancement. You will work alongside multiple dermatology providers while developing hands-on skills to help deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative team environment. This role offers a clear path toward a Senior Medical Assistant leadership position within our growing practice.
DUTIES:
Assist providerss with patient examinations, procedures, minor surgeries and cosmetics Obtain and update medical histories and vital signs Pre-chart prior to daily appointments Document patient encounters, scribe visits, and complete EMR documentation Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Administer medications as directed by providers Educate patients and assist with triage Coordinate patient flow while anticipating provider needs Process laboratory specimens and diagnostic results Send electronic prescriptions and letters Complete clinical logs and other administrative responsibilities Opportunity for growth into a Senior position, which may include management duties, training/overseeing staff, and improving overall practices
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Direct clinical MA experience (2+ years
REQUIRED
) EMR and medical scribing experienced (2+ years
REQUIRED
) Dermatology, cosmetic, or surgical experience a plus Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Able to multitask and be a flexible team member Interested in

Recent College Graduates:
We are willing to also consider new/recent college graduates interested in gaining meaningful, hands-on clinical experience and mentorship before pursuing medical school, PA school, nursing, or other healthcare careers as part of our Student MA Intern Fellowship Program.
