Medical Assistant / Front Desk Precision Primary Care - Timonium, MD About Us At Precision Primary Care, we believe healthcare should feel personal. We are a growing private practice dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate, and relationship-focused care to our community in Maryland. Our organization includes one primary care nurse practitioner, six psychiatric nurse practitioners, and over twenty virtual psychotherapists who work together to provide comprehensive care for our patients. We pride ourselves on treating patients like family and creating an environment where they feel genuinely heard, cared for, and supported. We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and friendly Medical Assistant / Front Desk Team Member who shares our passion for outstanding patient care and wants to be part of a close-knit team. Position Summary This position is primarily a Medical Assistant role with some Front Desk responsibilities . Every member of our team plays an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience—from the moment a patient calls our office until they leave their appointment. We're looking for someone who brings positive energy to work each day, enjoys interacting with people, and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential. ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Room patients and obtain vital signs Perform EKGs Perform urinalysis and point-of-care testing Perform pulmonary function testing Prepare patients for provider visits Document information accurately in the electronic medical record Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Assist with additional clinical duties as needed Front Desk Duties Answer incoming phone calls professionally and warmly Schedule patient appointments Return patient phone messages Communicate laboratory and imaging results as directed by the provider Check patients in and out Verify insurance information Assist patients with forms and questions Help create a welcoming environment for every patient Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required with relevant experience Previous medical office or primary care experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and dependable Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed What We're Looking For The right person is someone who: Loves helping people Smiles easily and enjoys interacting with patients Is dependable and arrives on time Works well independently and as part of a team Communicates professionally Maintains a calm and positive attitude during busy days Takes pride in providing outstanding customer service At Precision Primary Care, we know that many patients come to us during some of the most stressful times in their lives.
