Job Description

Greater Maryland Pain Management, LLC is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be organized, professional, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a high-volume medical environment. Candidates must be customer service driven with the goal of creating a positive experience for every patient we serve. Greater Maryland Pain Management is conveniently at several locations. Position Responsibilities:
Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication information Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Coordinate patient flow in a busy practice Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Review and reconcile medications Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff Assist with telephone calls, messages, referrals, and prescription requests Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and practice policies Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Pain management, orthopedic, or other specialty-practice experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
