Job Description
Medical Assistant (Part-Time) Global Pain Management (GPM) is a thriving interventional pain management practice with locations throughout Maryland, including Pasadena, Kent Island, and Columbia. We are currently looking for a well-rounded Medical Assistant to join our Pasadena office. GPM utilizes Board-Certified Anesthesiology and Pain Management Physicians to improve the quality of life for those in pain. Our providers create individualized care plans for each patient and strive to deliver care in a friendly, safe, and clean environment. The Medical Assistant will accompany providers and assist with procedures using fluoroscopy (C-arm) during interventional injections. Additional responsibilities include processing urine specimens using our analyzer machine and obtaining and managing prior authorizations for procedures to ensure timely patient care. This is a part-time position with work hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM . No nights or weekends. Candidates should be energetic, autonomous, confident, and collaborative.
