Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Podiatry Medical Assistant/Front Desk professional to join our healthcare team Full Time. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, managing administrative tasks, and supporting clinical operations within a busy podiatry practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical support skills, excellent patient service abilities, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient settings is highly desirable to ensure comprehensive patient support and efficient clinic functioning. Duties Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out at the front desk Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and manage follow-up communications Collect patient information, update medical records, and verify insurance details Measure vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Assist providers during examinations and procedures, including basic wound care or podiatric treatments Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and sterilize equipment after use Support clinical documentation using EHR systems with accurate coding such as ICD codes Assist with patient intake processes, including history taking and physiology assessments Support medication administration as directed by healthcare providers Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality at all times Perform basic X-ray procedures if certified and trained in emergency medicine or radiology support Manage administrative duties such as answering phones, handling patient inquiries, and coordinating referrals This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare setting dedicated to providing high-quality podiatric care while supporting overall patient well-being. Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
