Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Three years experience About us Cardiovascular and Vein Center in Silver Spring and Greenbelt Certified Medical Assistant(CMA) - three years experience Medical assistant with front office managerial experience needed to work in a Cath Lab setting at our Silver Spring or Greenbelt location.

Qualification:

Certified Medical Assistant by American Association of Medical Assistants or Certified Nursing Assistant by the Maryland Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities:

vital signs, brief medical history review and triage, EKG, spirometry, assisting physician with procedures and preparing exam rooms.

Office duties include:

answering phones, scheduling, entering information into EMR, insurance verification and pre-authorization, collecting payments, scanning, ordering supplies, and other admin duties as needed in the practice etc. Should be computer literate and able to recognize emergency medical situations Minimum of 3 years experience with EMR. Good organizational skills, Good verbal and written communication skills
