Blue Hill, Ellsworth, and Gouldsboro Summary :

To provide clinical support for medical practitioners, assist practitioner in the performance of Medical Procedures, conduct follow up with patients concerning lab and other tests results, triage patient calls as needed. Performs phlebotomy work and injections, manage patient records, act as a liaison between patient, hospital, other providers and the practitioners.

Requirements:

Graduated from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program Medical Assistant Certification (or currently eligible to sit for exam)

BLS Certification Responsibilities :

Prepares patients to be seen by provider. Assists provider with minor surgical procedures. Performs in office testing and treatment. Triage patient calls as needed. Remind patient of appointment as necessary. Collect necessary reports/information prior to patients' appointments. Execute standing orders, routine preventative services and/or prescription refills as authorized by provider. Notify patient of applicable results, communicating recommendations of diagnostic studies, as instructed by provider

Pay:

$20.00 - $20.15 per hour
