The position is full-time, day shift, no holidays or weekends. Excellent benefit package. The MA will be able to work in a fast paced office setting.
Medical Assistant Duties:
Responsible for preparing patient for visit with provider. This may include, but is not limited to: rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, procedure set-up, accurate data entry into EMR. Drawing labs and performing EKG's Rotating to Scheduling role as assigned by management Assist with MRI authorizations
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of accredited/approved MA program and MA Externship, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, Paramedic program, or CNA certificate Minimum 2 years experience Certified or Registered MA preferred Current BLS certification. Ability to relate and work effectively with others. Excellent Communication skills; written and verbal. Self Starter, detailed oriented, conscientious, positive attitude. Able to Multitask and prioritize duties Able to coordinate effectively with staff; works well in a team Must be prompt and reliable.
