Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced primary care practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and is committed to delivering excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, exceptional organization, and the ability to efficiently manage a daily patient load of 30+ patients. Key Responsibilities Accurately room and prepare 30+ patients per day in a timely and efficient manner Obtain and document thorough and accurate patient histories (HPI) Perform medication reconciliation with high attention to detail Record vital signs, chief complaints, and update patient charts in the EHR Assist providers with exams, procedures, and patient flow management Administer injections, vaccines, and perform point-of-care testing as needed Manage patient intake, including updating demographics, allergies, and medical history Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared between patients Coordinate with front desk and clinical staff to maintain smooth workflow Respond to patient messages, refill requests, and follow-up tasks promptly Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control protocols Qualifications Preferred 1 + years of Medical Assistant experience , Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and patient care processes Proven ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Experience with EHR systems (Aprima or similar preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
