About Us:

Specialists in Rehabilitation Medicine (SIRM) is a physician-led Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation practice that helps patients improve function and quality of life. Our Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, and Physical Therapists work together in a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient care.

Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant (Administrative) plays an important role in supporting our providers and patients by assisting with front-office and administrative tasks. This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in healthcare. We provide training and support for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out Schedule appointments and help manage provider calendars Answer phones and assist with patient messages and questions Collect payments and provide basic follow-up instructions Help maintain accurate patient records and charts Support office organization, including inventory and supplies Work closely with providers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations Follow HIPAA guidelines and company policies

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous medical office experience is helpful but not required Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information professionally Interest in healthcare and working with patients Specialists in Rehabilitation Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
