Dearborn Heights, MI 48127 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Dearborn Heights, MI. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens as directed. Administer medications and injections as authorized by the physician. Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records accurately. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. CPR certification preferred. Work Environment This position is based in a medical office located in Dearborn Heights, MI. The role involves direct patient contact and requires standing for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting of medical supplies and equipment.
