Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, you'll be the heartbeat of our patient care experience. From the moment a patient walks through our doors, you'll help set the tone—providing comfort, gathering vital information, and ensuring our providers have everything they need to deliver exceptional care. Your work will directly impact on patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency, and the overall quality of care we provide. You will be responsible for the following: Greeting and prepare patients for exams, taking vital signs and documenting medical histories in our EHR system. Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Perform basic laboratory tests, collect specimens, and administer medications or injections as directed. Manage patient flow by coordinating schedules and ensuring exam rooms are stocked and sanitized. Send prescriptions through EMR system with approval of provider Support front-desk operations when needed, including scheduling appointments or any other task assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification preferred). Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach to patient care. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems—experience with
SEVOCITY & DUXWARE.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.
