This vital role combines clinical support with front-office responsibilities, ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional care delivery. You'll handle patient intake, assist with medical procedures, manage electronic health records, and provide outstanding patient service in a fast-paced environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the clinical team with essential medical tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Collect and record vital signs, patient histories, and other relevant medical information accurately Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support when needed Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records, documentation, and ICD coding for billing and reporting purposes Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and coordinate referrals efficiently to optimize clinic workflow Support inpatient and outpatient care by understanding physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and hospital medicine practices Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and assist with inventory management of medical supplies Experience Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is required; experience in dermatology, urgent care, internal medicine, or hospital medicine is highly valued Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical documentation practices Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs collection, and patient care procedures Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is preferred; ongoing training in medical assisting or related fields is advantageous Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient lives through compassionate care and efficient support.
