Responsibilities Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to checkout Collect patient vital signs, medical histories, and current medications accurately and efficiently Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort Assist healthcare providers during examinations, minor procedures, and X-ray imaging as needed Manage medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality Support clinical operations by performing specimen collection, medication administration, and basic life support when required Conduct intake assessments, update patient records with ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and facilitate communication between patients and providers Requirements Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings, particularly in dermatology, urgent care, or internal medicine preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care procedures across various specialties such as geriatrics, pediatrics (PICU), or medical-surgical units Hands-on experience with EHR systems for documentation and data management Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications in X-ray operation or medication administration are advantageous Familiarity with hospital environments including Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers enhances your candidacy Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence and teamwork Ability to handle fast-paced situations in emergency medicine or inpatient settings confidently Experience preforming pulmonary function test Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference!
