We are seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist / Medical Assistant for a receptionist first position- with structured MA cross-training. Key responsibilities Patient access. Welcome patients; manage check-in/check-out, phones, MyChart, scheduling, confirmations, and no-show follow-up. Insurance, payments, and Epic. Verify coverage; collect copays/balances privately; maintain accurate records, scanning, Health Maintenance, and message routing. Administrative support. Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, forms, medical records, and DME/CGM, scanning paperwork. MA support. Cross-train in rooming, vitals, medication/allergy review, visit preparation, and basic clinical support within training. Preferred qualifications At least 1 year in private practice medical-office or medical-reception experience strongly preferred; MA training or experience preferred. Epic/EHR and insurance-verification experience preferred. Compassionate, reliable, accurate, organized, and comfortable with phones and computers. Strong HIPAA judgment, teamwork, punctuality, and willingness to cross-train.
