Join Our Team and Grow With Us! Howell Dermatology & Mohs Surgery is a new, patient-focused dermatology practice opening in Howell, Michigan. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Medical Assistant / Receptionist who is excited to be part of building something special from the ground up. This position is ideal for someone pursuing a career in medicine, physician assistant studies, nursing, healthcare administration, or another healthcare field. Whether you're gaining clinical experience before applying to professional school or looking for a long-term career in dermatology, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Greet and check in patients Schedule appointments and answer phone calls Verify insurance information Assist providers with patient care and procedures Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Document patient information in the electronic medical record Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic procedures Help create an exceptional patient experience Support office operations as our practice grows What We're Looking For Friendly, professional, and compassionate personality Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn Interest in healthcare and patient care Prior medical office experience preferred but not required Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required Why Join Us?
