Working as part of a team to provide quality patient care and assist with the daily functions of the physician clinic.Essential Duties :
This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Caregivers may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position. Assist with patients Take vital signs Enter data in electronic medical record Maintain/Stock clinic supplies and exam room Patient assistance program for applicable patient Clean surgical equipment Clerical and other duties assigned by the Manager of Patient Care the essential duties of the job beginning with the most important Job Requirements General Requirements- Demonstrates knowledge and maintains and respects patient right to privacy by following the HIPAA Privacy and Security policies and procedures.

- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR In lieu of formal education, minimum 6 months of recent Medical Assistant clinical experience
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Mobility required
- Ability to work as part of a team to provide quality patient care
- Demonstrates a positive team attitude and has interpersonal skills to effectively and appropriately communicate with clients, families, providers, and co-workers
- Necessary visual and auditory acuity to monitor patient's condition and operate department equipment
Preferred:
- RMA/CMA preferred
- 6 months of clinical experience preferred
