Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting vital signs, medical histories, and updating electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, and other clinical support services . Support physicians with medical documentation, ICD coding, and maintaining detailed medical records in EMR/EHR systems. Front desk tasks and answering phones. Manage medical office operations by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism. Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols related to whole life medicine, complimentary/Holistic medicine, or wound care specialties. Skills Extensive knowledge of family medicine, acute care procedures, complimentary medicine practices. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) management and medical documentation standards. Experience in medical assisting roles within outpatient environments is highly desirable. Skilled in phlebotomy techniques. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically. Ability to manage medical office operations efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and records management.
