The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy medical office. Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures Perform clinical tasks within scope of training and experience Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies Perform testing and collect specimens as needed Enter accurate patient information and clinical documentation into the EMR Assist with referrals, prescriptions, and other clinical tasks Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff Follow HIPAA, infection control, and office safety guidelines Help maintain an organized and efficient patient flow Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Medical Assistant certification preferred Experience with EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and medical terminology Strong communication and organizational skills Able to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care What We Offer Professional and supportive work environment On-the-job training Opportunities for growth and advancement Modern medical office Collaborative team atmosphere
