Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support clinical operations by assisting with patient care, managing medical documentation, and ensuring smooth office workflows. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help us deliver outstanding service to our patients while maintaining efficient practice management. Duties Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and assisting with procedures Support physicians with clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support procedures Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems (Athena/Epic)) by accurately documenting patient information and updating medical records Assist with patient intake processes, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Support medical office management tasks such as inventory control, appointment scheduling, and patient follow-up calls Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care across specialties like dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, hospital medicine, urgent care, and inpatient settings Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical documentation standards Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is required Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems(Athena/Epic)) and EMR/EHR management tools Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery Ability to perform phlebotomy and medication administration accurately and safely Experience in hospital or inpatient settings is a plus Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in medical records management and documentation Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through dedicated support and expert care!
