JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Lab Assistant is a support position in the laboratory setting. Students, individuals with patient care background and others with some lab experience would be a great match for this role! Position will work between Southway Lab and Northway Lab. What you'll do: Collect blood samples from the patient Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients Perform low complexity testing and culture set-up
Schedule:
Full-time | 72-80 hours every two weeks Monday and Friday | Rotating shifts between 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:15am-5:15pm
Pay and Benefits:
Starting pay begins at $21.53per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $19.15 - $28.71 per hour Full time benefits : medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prefer graduate from or in the process of pursing a phlebotomy certificate from an accredited laboratory program or medical -related program Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
