Job description Come join our team at Schoenwalder Health! We are a small, patient-focused functional medicine practice looking for an Medical Assistant who is warm, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people. This is not your typical medical assistant position. Our team works closely together, and because we are a small practice, you will be trained in all areas of the office . We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, is willing to learn, and likes being part of a team where everyone pitches in. What You'll Be Doing You'll work directly with our patients and providers and will be trained to assist with a variety of treatments and patient-care responsibilities, including: Assisting with and administering patient treatments using Shockwave Therapy, Summus Medical Laser, HUGO PEMF, and HOCATT Sauna Administering vitamin and hormone injections as appropriate to licensure, training, and provider direction Performing EKGs Assisting with patient care and clinical needs Communicating with patients regarding labs and follow-up needs Answering phones and assisting patients with questions Scheduling patient appointments Helping keep patient care and the day-to-day office running smoothly Learning other areas of the practice and helping wherever needed Don't have experience with all of our therapies? That's okay! We will provide training on our specialized equipment and treatment protocols. We're much more interested in finding the right person who is eager to learn and takes great care of our patients.
