Be part of a team whose responsibility is to provide treatment for clients residing within Fulton State Hospital. Responsibilities - What you'll do What you'll do: The clinic Administrative Support Assistant position is responsible for supporting the function of the Nixon Medical Clinic. This is a mid-level specialized support and technical position involving a high degree of independent judgement and prioritizing duties. Such duties include but are not limited to; data entry, data tracking, coordinating office functions, maintaining schedules, gathering information, preparing reports, maintaining files, revising and updating manuals, managing clinic communications, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, responding to inquiries and backing up the medical scheduler. This position works directly with the Specialty Clinic Staff and Medical Clinic Providers and may have brief interactions with patients. Eligible applicants must have effective communication skills, organizational skills and work well as a team player. Qualifications - All you need for success All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications Two or more years of experience in office support or clerical work. Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisors, and become a valued member of a team. Demonstrate experience in meeting deadlines, tracking workflow and flexibility in working with variety of departments, staff and facilities. Demonstrate experience in setting priorities and time management in a busy workflow with multiple demands. Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
