Job Description
AMA Southern Primary provides Family Healthcare along with Allergy testing for medical clinics in MO. We extensively train our Medical Assistants in all aspects of services provided and require all applicants to provide a Certified Medical Assistant Certificate .
Other requirements for the position:
Three years of experience working with patients within an office setting, Allergy Testing experience, strong organization skills, good communication skills, and open to learning new procedures and treatments. Must have reliable transportation. Most importantly, must enjoy working with patients on a daily basis to ensure their well being. Responsibilities- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with healthcare providers.
- Perform basic life support procedures and assist healthcare professionals in patient care activities.
- Utilize EHR systems to update patient information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Conduct intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical history from patients.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and apply physiology knowledge in clinical settings.
