Job Description
GREAT Happens Here ! Did you become a Medical Assistant to do great things? Come work for NKC Health's Medical Oncology team where you can be a part of something GREAT! This position performs a wide variety of medical and clinical support functions such as providing initial patient triage, scheduling, administrative services and assisting with direct patient care. Responsibilities Under the direction of medical oncology leadership, the medical assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of patients through the clinic setting by facilitating examinations and treatment of patients while exhibiting exceptional customer service. Performs medical and clinical support functions such as providing initial patient triage, scheduling, and administrative services, assisting with direct patient care, and performing specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as determined by established clinical protocols, policies and procedures. Ability to multitask and organize work flow in a fast-paced environment with a patient-centered mindset. Demonstrate basic office and computer skills to accurately record vital patient information. Experience 2 or more years of experience in a physician's office setting in a similar role
- Preferred Licensure/Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association
- Required Certified/Registered Medical Assistant through an accredited certification organization
Required Education :
High School Diploma/GED- Required
