Part-Time Our office is open from Monday-Friday 6am-4pm You will typically work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:45am-3pm (24 hours per week), but this schedule may vary as needed You may need to work a little earlier/later as needed SUMMARY Serves as support personnel, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), in accordance with established regulations for the practice of Medical Assistant/Tech, Federal, State, and accreditation standards and company policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in direct patient care and maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment. Perform duties in an ethical and legal manner within the scope of their certification. Maintain medical records in an accurate and legible manner. Stock inventory, clean stretchers and change bed linens. Bring patients snacks after surgery. Comply with HIPAA regulations. Participate in continuing education/in-service training as needed, staff meetings, and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, Physicians and other staff. Assist in training new staff when needed.QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredMinimum Required:

Knowledge of Amkai Office and Amkai Charts Database software is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Proficient in using printer, copier, telephone and fax machinePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
