Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are prepared and sterilized. Take vital signs, record patient histories, and document medical information accurately in electronic health records. Prepare examination rooms before patient visits, including setting up instruments and ensuring cleanliness standards are met. Administer basic treatments such as injections or wound care under supervision, following all safety protocols. Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and handle check-in/check-out processes efficiently. Maintain inventory of medical supplies, restocking as needed to support uninterrupted clinic operations. Provide compassionate support to patients by answering questions, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns with professionalism. Skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with diverse patient populations. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy healthcare environment. Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and electronic health record systems. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining attention to safety protocols. Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities or urgent situations within the clinic setting. Basic understanding of infection control practices and sterilization procedures. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; relevant certifications such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) are a plus.
