In this vital role, you will provide hands-on support to healthcare providers, assist with patient intake, perform clinical procedures, and ensure smooth operation of medical services. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately. Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures including phlebotomy, medication administration. Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and proper setup of necessary equipment. Document patient encounters thoroughly in EMR/EHR systems while adhering to medical terminology standards and ICD coding protocols. Support medical office management tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient follow-up calls, and inventory management of supplies. Skills Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and EMR/EHR management practices. Experience with phlebotomy, medication adherence, referrals,prior authorizations and vital signs collection. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, ICD coding, and pharmacology principles. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients.
