What We Offer Full-time position in a stable medical office Variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities Supportive, small-team environment Patient-centered community care setting Opportunity to build long-term medical office experience Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for exams by taking and recording vital signs and medical histories Assist provider during examinations and minor procedures Administer injections, medications, and basic lab procedures as directed Schedule patient appointments and manage daily patient flow Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) Answer phones, greet patients, and assist at the front desk as needed Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for use Follow all HIPAA, safety, and sanitation guidelines Requirements Experience taking and recording patient vital signs is required Previous experience in a medical office preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures Preferred Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Previous experience as a medical assistant or medical receptionist (2+ years preferred) Work Environment Small, close-knit medical office Team-oriented and patient-focused care environment Mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities Fast-paced but supportive setting Schedule Full-time position Hours may vary based on office needs Location Requirement Must be able to commute to: Lucedale, MS 39452
