Job Description
Escort patients throughout the office as needed. Perform routine patient check-in procedures, including patient work-ups and new patient history. Prepare examination rooms to include cleaning and restocking of supplies. Handle phone messages for physicians and nurses and make calls to obtain information from hospitals, labs, other physician offices and ancillary departments for each patient's medical record. Willingness to assist Providers, Nurses and Front Office Specialists as needed. Qualifications • Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare related field Limited X-Ray Machine Operator Permit for Mississippi, Preferred (Not Required). Excellent organizational skills; required. Working knowledge of basic computers and computer software; required.
