Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant with expertise in Medical Records management to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while ensuring accurate and efficient handling of medical documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical assisting, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and a comprehensive understanding of various medical specialties and outpatient services. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive patient experience and streamline clinical operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and verifying insurance information. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters, diagnoses, procedures (including ICD coding), and treatment plans. Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining medical records with precision. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to medical documentation and confidentiality. Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within hospital or outpatient settings. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding practices. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are preferred. Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
