Job Description
Pediatric Practice Medical Assistant performs various office and clinical duties, such as taking vital signs, and assisting with exams, administrative tasks, like scheduling appointments, managing patient records, translating, front desk work and referrals to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently. Essential Functions Interview patients for case histories Schedule and coordinate appointments Assist patients with initial paperwork Accurately update and maintain patients' health records Measure and record patient vital signs Clean and maintain patient exam rooms Communicate test results to patients when directed by physicians or nursing professionals Assist patients with re-scheduling appointments and other scheduling issues Orders and maintains clinical supplies, office supplies, and equipment.
