Job Description
Job Overview Join our peaceful office setting taking care of the best patients in Henderson County. We are a well established and highly respected dermatology practice doing all aspects of medical surgical and cosmetic dermatology, including Mohs surgery. Responsibilities Assist dermatologists with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by documenting patient encounters, updating medical histories, and ensuring accuracy of medical records. Support patient education by explaining procedures, post-treatment care instructions, and medication usage clearly and empathetically. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly. Experience Previous experience in dermatology or outpatient medical settings is preferred but on the job training is also available. . Proficiency in support tasks including appointment scheduling and managing EMR/EHR systems is important . Most of all, we are looking for a hardworking, smart and easy to get along with candidate. Willingness to take care of open wounds is essential.
