Job Description
What We Offer Schedule:
32 hours a week- 8:00am-5:00pm, Days TBD Novant Health Endocrinology clinic is hiring for a Part- Time Certified Medical Assistant where you'll work alongside experienced providers to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) , you will play a vital role in coordinating clinical care and assisting providers to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare for patients across all stages of life. What You'll Do Partner with providers to deliver outstanding patient care and support efficient clinic operations. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and updating electronic medical records. Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice, including injections, immunizations, medication administration, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection. Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely, efficient visits while maintaining a positive patient experience. Assist with prescription refills, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care.What We're Looking For Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including:- CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
- RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
- American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA).
