Full Job Description Job Summary:
Position requires ability to multi-task and to work well with the technologists, physicians, nurses and other ancillary staff within the practice to assist with patient workflows.
Days:
Every other
Saturday and Sunday Hours:
8:00am - 8:00pm
Major Job Functions:
Assist patients in getting ready for scan and assisting them with getting on the exam table. Double check patient paperwork Assist radiologists and technologists during MR procedures Prepare the room for the next patient Stocking patient dressing rooms as needed Assist with washing and drying of laundry. Intercept and direct faxes through the fax server Request outside notes and films as needed Follows all OSHA Standards for Blood Bourne Pathogens. Assist the technologists, nurses and physicians in any way that will ensure good quality patient care. Perform other miscellaneous duties as requested.
Specifications:
Education:
High School diploma or
GED Experience:
Clerical and clinical experience preferred.
Certification/License/Registration:
BLS/CPR required.
Position Titles and Number Supervised:
None.
Special Training/Skills:
Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations. Ability to be flexible and work on multiple projects. Ability to interact on all levels. Must have good communication skills. Must be courteous at all times with interdepartmental personnel and patients.
Physical Demands:
General vision, clear speech, hearing, reading, writing, standing, walking. May use some repetitive movements, bend, kneel or move or carry light objects.
Working Conditions:
Works in a medical facility. Works with others with verbal and face-to-face contact. Other (Operational Excellence): Employee must be aware of and fully support all practice policies and procedures. Must have demonstrated ability to deliver services to fellow coworkers with compassion and in a responsive and courteous manner.
