Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):
Clinical Duties:
Prepare patients for examination, including recording medical history and vital signs. Administer medications and vaccinations under the supervision of a provider. Maintain examination rooms by cleaning and stocking supplies. Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the provider. Must be able perform accurate, high-volume blood draws in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Administrative Duties:
Respond to patient inquiries. Update and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and other paperwork as needed. Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely visits.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current CMA certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, or equivalent). Proficiency with computers. Experience with EPIC helpful. Excellent communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
