Position Summary We are seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy healthcare practice in Jacksonville, NC. Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs and medical information
• Prepare patients and examination rooms for provider visits
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations and routine clinical procedures
• Review and process laboratory results according to established procedures
• Assist with drug screening procedures and related documentation
• Process medication and prescription-related requests under provider direction
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records
• Assist with patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out as needed
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced medical environment
• Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned Requirements
• Current Medical Assistant certification required
• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and standard clinical procedures
• Ability to read and understand laboratory information
• Experience with drug screenings and medication requests preferred
• Strong computer and electronic medical record (EMR) skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
