$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in our specialty OB/GYN office. This position requires a strong understanding of our medical procedures and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for patients. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and equipped. Take patient histories and vital signs accurately. Administer medications and injections as directed by our Providers. Manage and interpret patient records efficiently. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Provide basic patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care, as directed by our Providers. Demands a patient, adaptable, and collaborative approach to engage with our staff and patients alike, in a busy office that cares for a high volume of patients each day. Experience Candidates preferably should possess experience or familiarity with one or more of the following areas: Obstetrics and Gynecology Medical-surgical environments Patient service excellence Relevant outpatient procedural care settings ICD-10 and CPT code knowledge Electronic Medical Records system familiarity We encourage individuals who are passionate about healthcare, specifically in the OB/GYN field of specialty, and are committed to improving patient outcomes, to apply for this rewarding opportunity for a Medical Assistant.
