Job Duties:

Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record. Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data. Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice. Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs. Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines.

Job Requirements:

Medical Assistant Certificate/national Certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA. 2 years of working experience as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting Expertise with blood/lab draws and venipuncture. BLS from AHA Certification Local candidate required

Schedule:

Day Shift 8 AM to 5 PM Monday - Friday 5x8

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Experience:

MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting: 2 years (Required) blood/lab draws and venipuncture.: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

MA Certification AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA. (Required) BLS AHA Certification (Required)
