Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Gynecology team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care. You will play a key role in supporting providers, ensuring efficient patient flow, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients in the lobby and escort them to exam rooms in a timely and professional manner Perform patient intake, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during gynecological procedures Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the provider Assist with scheduling, referrals, and follow-up care as needed Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred (Gynecology or Women's Health experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Proficiency with EMR systems (we use Athena) Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred but not required Bilingual (Spanish speaking) highly preferred
Schedule:
Full-time position Monday-Friday (schedule may vary based on clinic needs) Why Join Us?
