Monday-Friday, 7:50 AM-5:00 PM Guaranteed hours: 40 hours

Local Pay Range:

$18 - $22/hour (

Duties:

Room patients and obtain vital signs, height, and weight. Record patient medical history, medications, and allergies. Perform venipuncture, glucose testing, specimen labeling, and urine collection. Administer immunizations and TB tests, and provide nebulizer treatments. Conduct hearing and vision screenings. Perform suture removal and assist with orthopedic-related patient care. Make follow-up calls, handle pharmacy calls and refill requests, and provide telephone triage. Support adult outpatient clinic operations and maintain accurate documentation in Epic.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant. Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted. Current BLS certification. Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following: AAMA or AMT or NHA-CCMA or NCMA or ARMA Epic charting experience required.
