Job Description

Certified Medical Assistant Position Summary Salary Range:
$19.90 - $27/hour (based on education and experience) Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical support under the supervision of nursing staff and physicians. The ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism, compassion, confidentiality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities include:
Performing clinical procedures such as blood draws, injections, immunizations, and lab testing within MA scope of practice. Assisting providers with patient examinations, including obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for visits. Maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms and ensuring necessary supplies are available. Managing patient calls, providing instructions as directed, and assisting with patient needs. Supporting medical records, referrals, lab documentation, and other administrative tasks. Assisting with procedures and other clinical duties as assigned. Providing patient support while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements:
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or specialized MA training (required). Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a medical setting (required). Current Medical Assistant certification (required, documentation needed). Current BLS certification (AHA) required (documentation needed).
