To be determined Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical support in a professional medical office environment. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are also encouraged to apply. The Medical Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician and performs a variety of clinical and patient-support duties within the scope of their training and certification. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, compassion, discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Essential Responsibilities Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, laboratory testing, and other clinical procedures within the scope of certification and applicable regulations. Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures. Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures. Assist patients with transportation to and from examination rooms as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms. Take and return patient telephone calls as directed by the physician or clinical staff. Provide patients with instructions and education as directed by the physician. Assist with nursing procedures as directed and within the scope of practice. Maintain adequate supplies and request or requisition supplies as needed. Assist with medical records and clinical documentation, including referrals, laboratory forms, and other required paperwork. Assist patients and clinical staff during examinations and procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive medical information. Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. Follow all applicable clinical, safety, infection-control, and regulatory standards. Work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team and demonstrate flexibility when assisting in other areas. Perform additional duties as assigned by management or clinical leadership. Required Qualifications Completion of a formal Medical Assistant education/training program — Required. At least 3 years of demonstrated Medical Assistant experience in a medical setting — Required. Current Certified Medical Assistant certification — Required. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — Required. LPN candidates may also be considered for this position, subject to applicable licensure and qualifications. Compensation Pay:
Up to $22.00 per hour Compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, certification, and applicable organizational pay practices. Highly experienced candidates may be considered at the top of the range.
