Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic Podiatry team as a Medical Assistant, where your skills will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help to maintain accurate medical documentation and provide exceptional patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your expertise in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Assist providers with patient intake, including recording vital signs and updating medical histories using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Prepare examination rooms and assist during procedures. Manage medical documentation accurately, including ICD coding, medical records management, and detailed note-taking in EMR system. Support patient care through effective communication, answering questions about treatments, medications, and procedures while ensuring a positive patient experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience preferred, but not required; we will provide on the job training. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and electronic health records management preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage medical records accurately while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
