The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a highly motivated, friendly, full-time Medical Assistant. We are a multi-location practice. The ideal candidate would be able to commute to at least 3 of our locations.

Responsibilities Include:

Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for patients Room and perform vitals signs Take a detailed History of present illness Prior authorizations for medications Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, and scanning documents

Qualifications:

Able to reliably commute to your scheduled location. Must be able to commute to at least 2 of our other locations as needed. (Tolls to our Riverdale location reimbursed) Completion of Medical Assisting course preferred or relevant experience 2 years of previous experience in a healthcare setting. Physical Therapy or Pain Management a plus! Excellent multitasking, organizational and organizational skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
