Job Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a leading community-based healthcare organization serving patients of all ages throughout Monmouth County, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and patient-focused Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative primary care environment. The CMA will support providers and patients at the organization's Freehold Community Health Center , helping ensure exceptional patient care and efficient clinical operations.

Position Details Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM

•5:00 PM One Saturday per month: 8:30 AM

•5:00 PM One late evening per week: Until 6:30

PM Pay Rate:

$19.00

•$21.00/hour based on experience

Bilingual Differential:

Spanish or Haitian Creole speakers eligible for $21.50/hour

Sign-On Bonus:

$2,000 for qualified bilingual candidates

EMR Experience:

NextGen or Epic preferred

Location:

Freehold, NJ Responsibilities Assist providers with patient flow, rooming, and clinical documentation Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures within scope Execute physician orders and maintain accurate patient records Support laboratory operations, proficiency requirements, and documentation Coordinate medications, supplies, referrals, and follow-up care Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards Foster positive relationships with patients, providers, and team members Adhere to organizational attendance, professionalism, and appearance standards Support daily clinical operations to ensure a positive patient experience Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program required Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience preferred Experience with phlebotomy and EKGs required CPR certification required Experience utilizing NextGen, Epic, or similar EMR systems preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid New Jersey driver's license and reliable transportation required Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole strongly preferred
